Welcome to the District Export Council's ExportUniversity.com!

If you have questions regarding any aspect of international trade, and are looking for additional courses and resources, you have come to the right place.  Whether you are a new-to-export company, or an experienced export professional just looking for more information on certain international trade topics, we have designed courses and resources pertinent to you.

Export University is a series of courses on exporting designed by the District Export Council and the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The District Export Council is a volunteer non-profit organization associated with the U.S. Commercial Service (http://www.us-dec.com/html/home.html).  Its Members are appointed by the Secretary of Commerce to provide mentoring on exporting.

Export University courses are designed in three series to fit all levels of exporting experience.  The 101 courses are perfect for new-to-export companies or those that have been responding to sales inquiries, but not proactively pursuing international sales.  201- and 301-level courses are more advanced in nature, and tackle topics from trade finance, export regulations, complying with international standards, and U.S. and international tax benefits for exporters.

On this web site you will find information about Export University, courses taking place in your state, a library of books and other materials that address various topics in exporting and international trade, and FAQs.  You can register for all upcoming Export University courses through this web site.

We hope you enjoy ExportUniversity.com and your upcoming Export University course!
