Sponsoring Partnership with Export University

How can I sponsor an Export University course?

The DEC and U.S. Commercial Service always welcome expressions of interest in sponsoring an Export University course! The best way to submit your interest in sponsoring an Export University course is to contact your local U.S. Export Assistance Center.

Sponsoring an Export University course typically entails providing funds for the breakfast and lunch portions of the course. The amount of sponsorship is determined per event, per the number of attendees, and depending on how much you are willing to sponsor. Sponsorship packages vary by location. Typically, your logo will be included on the lunch table on a placard stating, "Lunch Provided by ____________". It will also appear on the agenda and course promotion as, "Lunch Provided by ___________".

Your company may sponsor an Export University in which you are or are not speaking on the agenda. Your local U.S. Export Assistance Center will work with you to help determine which course you would like to sponsor.

How can I partner with the DEC and U.S. Commercial Service to organize an Export University course on a particular topic?

If you have an idea for a topic for an Export University course, please present this idea at your local DEC's next meeting, or contact your nearest U.S. Export Assistance Center. Topics are selected by the DEC and U.S. Commercial Service according to the interests of the local business community, and the current event calendar for the upcoming months.

In order to enhance the chances of your topic being selected for an upcoming course, it is helpful if you are able to help arrange for speakers, present a completed agenda with an outline of topics to be addressed, and are willing to assist in the logistical arrangements for the course. Please keep in mind that the DEC and U.S. Commercial Service need to include a wide variety of speakers in every course, and cannot arrange an Export University for just your company to speak. However, we always welcome your ideas and assistance in enhancing our Export University program!
